Groundcover Perennial Sampler for Spring 2012

Each sampler flat will contain two plants each of t8 of the 9 varieties of reliable groundcovers below, for a total of sixteen plants per flat. A half flat contains one of each of 8 of the 9 varieties, for a total of eight plants.

	Arenaria 'Flurry' is a lovely evergreen rock garden plant that blooms abundantly in late spring. Despite its delicate appearance, it tolerates light foot traffic.		Saxifraga 'Highlander Rose' is a compact alpine plant with dainty evergreen foliage and vividpink blooms in summer. Ideal for rock gardens.
	Ajuga 'Rainbow' is multi-colored, shade-loving charmer with evergreen foliage in shades of pink, burgundy, white and green, with blue flowers in spring.		Erodium 'Flore Pleno' is a dainty charmer with tiny pink and white double flowers in summer. It tolerates light foot traffic, ad grows in sun to part shade.
	Cerastium 'Tormentosum' is a dainty, mat-forming alpine plant that's prefect for rock gardens. Its fuzzy leaves and glimmering white petals make it a favorite.		Delosperma 'Stardust' is an amazing groundcover for the hottest spots in your yard. Succulent green foliage provides a lovely backdrop to its shiny, abundant deep pink flowers.
	Dianthus 'Flavora Rose Shades' bears beautiful, fragrant blossoms on evergreen, mat-forming leaves. Its petals range from bright white to deep carmine; blooms all summer when deadheaded.		Sedum 'Angelina' has succulent chartreuse leaves that spread quickly to form an attractive mat. Ideal for rocky, dry patches.
	Iberis 'Snowflake' is a classic cascading groundcover with evergreen foliage. In spring, it turns into a marvelous blanket of pure white flowers.

In the event that we need to make a substitution for one of the above varieties, we will send a plant of equal or greater value that is also a hardy groundcover.
