Sunny Perennial Flower Sampler for Spring 2011

Each sampler flat will contain two plants each of eight varieties of the sun-loving perennials shown below, for a total of sixteen plants per flat. A half flat contains one of each, for a total of eight plants.

	Delphinium 'Magic Fountains Medium Blue/White Bee' has gorgeous true blue petals with a cheery, contrasting bee - it's a long time favorite for good reason!		Penstemon 'Husker Red' is a truly striking plant, with bright white blossoms standing out against red to burgandy foliage - it's a favorite with gardeners and butterflies alike!
	Coreopsis 'Santa Fe' produces a profusion of large, bright yellow, semi-double flowers. It's very tough, makes a nice cut flower, and attracts bees and butterflies.		Agastache 'Apricot Sprite' has beautiful peachy spikes that keep coming all summer. It's bound to attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and compliments!
	Lupine 'Gallery Red' is a compact, 20" variety that produces 10-12 spikes per plant. For elegant, structural beauty, lupines simply can't be beat.		Chrysanthemum 'Filigran' is classic shasta with feathery deep green leaves that lend wonderful texture to any planting. It's drought resitant, and great in bouquets.
	Gaillardia 'Goblin' is a compact variety that covers itself with radiant red and yellow flowers from June through first frost. It's drought resistant and attracts butterflies.		Papaver 'Coral reef' is a breathtaking salmon-pink oriental poppy. Its large, glimmering petals and sooty black, structural center are an absolute feast for the eyes.
	Salvia 'Blue Queen' sports dramatic, vertical, deep blue spikes all summer long. It provides striking structure and color, and bees and butterflies love it.

In the event that we need to make a substitution for one of the above varieties, we will send a plant of equal or greater value that is also a hardy, sun-loving perennial.
